As we celebrate seven years since Mainline's launch in 2019, we are thrilled to unveil our label with a debut compilation out now exclusively on Bandcamp
On Tuesday, we officially launched Mainline Records with a special edition limited pressing of our debut compilation, Mainline Mix 1, which is available now on Bandcamp. Digital downloads are available as well as a small batch of 100 handmade CDs as part of our launch.
We will be selling CDs at the merch table at the MUELAS EP release show featuring Playytime at Goat Farm tomorrow, July 17! Come grab a copy and come to a rippin’ show!
All physical releases purchased through the Bandcamp site come with a digital download. As an added bonus, we made four different album covers for listeners to choose from.
While we don’t have our physicals in stores yet, our distribution and pressing plans for future releases are in motion. Much like our first zine, Stand or Fall (which covered America’s war on women, abortion bans in the South, among other things) in 2019, this debut isn’t a ton of bells and whistles; it’s straight from the heart, intentionally small, and meant for our community. (You gotta dance with the ones who brought ya, ya know?)
Our first 100 CDs are for the music nerds and lovers out there who are just like us. If you are a collector of niche music releases, this is definitely your bag. Grab yours before they run out. It’s only up from here, but it will never be quite like this again.
